Founded in the heart of Kenya's agricultural highlands, Narumoru, Gatelite was born out of a deep passion for sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment. From the foothills of Mount Kenya, we cultivate more than just essential oils, herbs, and biofuels. We cultivate purpose, resilience, and a future where business and nature thrive together.
Gatelite Energy was established in 2016 by James and Kelvin Gateri, with a vision to reimagine agriculture as a force for good. Starting from the fertile heart of Nyeri County, under the gaze of Mount Kenya, their journey began with a simple but powerful idea: "Agribusiness can be sustainable, community-driven, and innovative — all at once."
